About Advanced Safety and User Experience

Advanced Safety and User Experience encompasses our deep expertise in software, centralized computing platforms, advanced safety systems and automated driving focusing on five areas that are transforming mobility: Safety Electronics, Infotainment, User Experience, Autonomous Driving (AD) and Connectivity & Security.

About this position

We are looking for a working student for our DevOps Engineer position inside the Systems and Architecture team to be located in our Wuppertal, Germany location. The successful candidate will be part of a team working on designing cutting-edge technology that will enable a safer, greener, more connected future of mobility. The ideal candidate is someone with good programming skills and who is passionate about developing tools and scripts that increase the productivity and quality of the architecture team.

Your role

  • Develop scripts to automate the generation of vehicle architecture diagrams

  • Develop tools to integrate different architecture data-bases and repositories

  • Develop routines to check integrity and consistency of vehicle architecture models

  • Support the integration between systems and software toolchains to ensure traceability between the system design and software implementation.

  • Extend the capabilities of the current architecture tool based on architects feedback.

  • Automate reports for the different architecture models

Your background

  • University student enrolled in a Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or similar in a German University.

  • You are located in North-Rhine-Westphalia (NRW)

  • Proficient with Python

  • Experience with version control tools

  • Proactive and self-reliant personality with hands-on mentality to "get things done"

  • Strong written and oral communication skills in English

  • Experience with VBScript, Jscript or JavaScript is a plus

  • Knowledge of Sparx Enterprise Architect or UML/SysML and interest on model-based systems engineering (MBSE) is a plus
