Job Description for Product Engineer, HV Interconnects

Responsibilities and duties

• Responsible for product design and development with high quality and meet project timing schedule.
• Implement lead design, design for manufacturability with low cost.
• Support supervisor to build the team quickly.
• Support PM and cooperate with other function to make project move smoothly.
• Maintain regular communication with relevant engineering team in North America and Europe.

Qualifications / Requirements

• Bachelor degree in business, mechanical/electrical engineering
• At least 3 years related working experience
• Rich engineering experience and skill in electrical connector design & development for automotive industry, connector product design experience is must Connection systems experience and knowledge of automotive market is preferred.
• Multi-national company experience and UG software is preferred.
• Good written and read English skill. Good communication skill and highly self-motivated.
• Basic knowledge in TS16949.

Nice to haves (preferred qualifications)

• Knowledge of automotive market preferred;
• Basic knowledge of 6 SIGMA & TS16949 preferred
