Job Description for Application Engineer

As Application Engineer you wiil be working withinthe Product Engineering team to develop the wiring harness of the vehicle.

Your Role

• Deliver the technical documentation (drawings, bill of materials, etc.) in line with the vehicle’s planning.

• Be the technical interface between the customer and the Aptiv production plant

• Define the layout of the harness, including the choice of protections, fixations, etc.

• Coordinate with the Program Manager and facilitators/experts on the specific tools that will be used (for example D-FMEA).

• Be the technical interface between the customer and Aptiv plant

Your Background

• Mechanical or Electrical/electronics background

• Fluent in English

• Good knowledge of technical drawings (mandatory) - experience with CAD (nice to have)

• Knowledge of FMEA and other usual automotive methodologies will be appreciated

• Basic knowledge in the field of the wiring harness and electrical components
