We’re seeking a highly motivated software architect for the design, development and integration of software deployment tools in the area of software defined vehicles and autonomous systems. This role sits within Aptiv’s new product organization, which will be at the forefront of transforming the auto industry with cutting-edge technology.

The ideal candidate would have experience applying techniques in Model-based engineering to specify behavior of programs and support deployment of such programs to distributed real time embedded systems.

Your Role:

• Support the development of a Model-based Framework for continuous development in cyber-physical systems such as software-defined vehicles.

• Identify & analyze industry standards and research in continuous development.

• Design and implement tools targeting integration of complex, distributed real-time embedded systems.

• Design and implement tools to improve developer and architect productivity, workflow consistency, - verification/validation and analysis of the overall system

• Work in an agile development team (SCRUM)

Your Background:

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable field of study

• 5+ years’ experience building large scale production software.

• Knowledge of techniques in at least one of the fields

  • Model to Model transformation

  • Model to Text Transformation

  • Domain Specific Language development

  • Compiler Optimization

  • Graph transformation

• Understanding of the architectural and design patterns of real time embedded

• Experience building languages and code generation tools for safety critical embedded software development.

• Knowledge of Autosar ARXML and UML XMI formats.

• Experience building real time software for automotive, robotics, aerospace, or similar systems would be beneficial.
