Job Description for Supplier Manager

Your Role:

• Ensure flawless execution of software supplier management, on all projects executed in GPO

• Identify and develop strategic supplier partnerships for specific technological areas/domains

• Assist with booking through support of quoting Start Center activities

• Work with Buyer, Software Licenses & Royalties, Supply Chain Management to update project NRE/Royalties spreadsheet

• Help maintain the ASPICE (Automotive SPICE) required rating for ACQ.4 Supplier Monitoring across all projects

• Drive corrective action of any ACQ.4 Supplier Monitoring audit failures

• Write, support and/or approve all PRs/POs

• Optimize cost structure for SW Suppliers

• Co-operate with other regions in the suppliers management area

• Care for good company image

• Permanent and regular developing of professional qualifications

• Care for confidential information and company’s property

• On-time execution of assigned tasks in compliance with the valid quality system valid for Aptiv corporation and GPO

Your Background:

• MSc degree in Electronics or Computer Science or related.

• Ability to speak, read and write English.

• Team oriented.

• Honest in relation to company, clients, and co-operators.

• Good knowledge of MS Office.

• Methodical approach to problem solving.

• Prior experience in area and automotive industry.

• Willing to travel as required.
