As a Software Asset Manager you will join Global Software Services Organization which is a global organization offering critical software services to over 7000 engineers located in Germany, Poland, India, USA and China. You will help to provide world class applications and platforms utilizing the world’s leading cloud providers.

In our portfolio we have tools such as: Polarion, JIRA, Confluence, Coverity, Plastic SCM, Jenkins, Gerrit, Artifactory, AWS, Azure, Driving Simulations,  CI/CD, Machine Learning, Business Intelligence to name but a few.

Your role:

  • Lead team of software asset managers responsible for $30m of software assets to manage used by 7000 engineers in NA, EUR, Asia

  • Produce quarterly financial reports for Senior Leadership Team (Executive Directors and Vice Presidents)

  • Build a high performing team operating to exceptional standards of software asset management

  • Work closely with the executive director of Engineering to define licensing strategy and roadmap for team of software asset managers

  • Develop and Implement License Strategy for multiple service types to optimize cost and availability to globally distributed engineering teams.

  • Oversee license negotiations with global suppliers

  • Oversee monitoring and tracking license usage and cost/benefit KPI’s

  • Co-ordinate interdependent tasks across multiple global regions and external vendors.

  • Document and communicate team activities

Requirements:

  • Information Technology degree or similar, preferably additional business administration background

  • 5 years of experience in building high performing teams

  • 3 years of strong experience in financial forecasting, reporting and budget management

  • 8 years’ experience Software Asset Management, Software or IT License Manager

  • Strong experience in performing financial analysis of budget spend and producing financial reports.

  • Strong experience in working in either Agile or Lean based processes.

  • Experienced in performing risk analysis and developing risk management plans

  • Understanding of IT project management procedures

  • Experience with changes in requirements, scheduling, and resource issues

  • Motivated, Adaptable and Positive personality
