Job Description for Resource Management Analyst

Aptiv is looking for a self-driven, detailed oriented, and high execution professional to be part of the resource management team in the Global Product Organization

Your Role

• Provide analysis and reporting to generate complete and reliable engineering resource planning and management

• Work with Resource Managers and Engineering Leaders to established resource management business processes 

• Support regular updates of project plans and other resource planning data

• Conduct mid-and-long-term capacity planning analysis based on the combination of in-flight projects and active pursuits

• Work with the Analytics and KPIs team and local leadership to develop standard reports and KPI dashboards for resource planning and management

• Support senior leadership with ad-hoc reporting as required

• Develop proficiency in the Aptiv resource management systems and tools

• Working closely with finance to align on the resource allocation strategies

Your Background

• 4+ years of experience in business related areas including Finance, Accounting, Resource Management or general business operations

• 4+ years of experience in resource management related activities (workforce planning, engineering resources planning, developing actions to balance workloads)

• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills

• Demonstrated critical thinking, problem-solving, analytical and diagnostic skills

• Being able to manage multiple priorities concurrently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision

• Collaborative team player who can cultivate trust in order to promote cooperation, developing and fostering strong relationships and with various levels within and outside an organization; strong communication, interpersonal and negotiating skills
