Your Role

  • Act as the interface between SCM and other functions (PM, Sales, Logistics, Finance and Engineering) for all direct material related issues within Program Development Process;

  • Coordinate the purchasing activities according SCM rules and procedures;

  • Prepare the sourcing packages for Supply Chain Category Team;

  • Assure on time the PPAP, Frame Contract availability for all purchased components in close collaboration with SCM AQE and Category teams;

  • Conduct Benchmarks and Select/Nominate the development/prototype suppliers in conjunction with category and engineering;

  • Create the development contracts for the new parts;

  • Assure toolings Kick-off for new developed parts on time ;

  • Assure capacity confirmation for all purchased components of a program - drives escalation in case of non-confirmation;

  • Ensure suppliers readiness to meet customer milestones;

  • Analyse material content and Prepare costed Bill of Materials;

  • Contribute to year over year material cost reduction target by initiating and supporting performance initiatives;

  • Manage the ongoing program’s maintenance during life-time (tracking of new parts, volume changes, transfers of business);

  • Manage the model year and facelifts changes across all levers throughout program life-time;

  • Communicate and implement customer requirements within the purchasing organization and respective supply chain;

  • Ensure compliance with global and local functional processes and work instructions.

Your Background

  • Master’s Degree from commercial or technical university

  • Business experience of Minimum 2 years in Aptiv or automotive industry

  • Excellent verbal and written English language skills

  • High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills

  • Disciplined and accurate/structured working style

  • Good knowledge of MS Office
