Job Description

In this position, you would be a key member of the core Test Manufacturing Technology Team, with responsibility for developing production electrical test and product programming solutions for global implementation.  This role is focused on PCB-level In-Circuit Test and Flash Programming applications.  As a member of the core Technologies and Standards team, the scope of this position crosses all Active Safety & User Experience product families and global regions.

Your Role:

  • Develop advanced In-Circuit Test and product flash programming hardware and software solutions in support of Manufacturing Engineering Product-Oriented development departments and global manufacturing sites 

  • Research test equipment and flash programming system suppliers and fixture suppliers, leading benchmarking studies, providing equipment costing information, and global sourcing equipment.

  • Develop Test Hardware and Software Building Blocks which are globally reusable across product families

  • Collaborate with Product Development teams on design-for-test initiatives and production Cybersecurity provisioning solutions

  • Develop and publish standard practices and procedures which are followed by Manufacturing Test Engineering and Operations support teams at all global sites

  • Leverage data analytics and advanced problem solving methodologies to drive continuous improvement

  • Develop and administer training to our global Test organization

  • Provide production support for deployed In-Circuit and PCB Flash Programming solutions as needed

Your Background:

  • Minimum bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or equivalent

  • Minimum 3 years of experience with In-circuit PCB-level test or PCB-level flash programming application development, including direct production floor support

  • Knowledge of advanced test and flash programming methods and technologies, including JTAG Boundary Scan methods and vectorless test solutions

  • Strong skills in Six Sigma and statistical methodologies

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Ability to work in a diverse, global team environment

  • Energetic, self-motivated, proactive, and customer focused working style

  • Business fluent English

  • Preferred: Experience and/or certification in product Cybersecurity technologies and methodologies

  • Preferred: Experience working with Keysight i3070 ICT systems, SMH Flashrunner flash programming systems, and NI TestStand test executive software

  • Preferred: Knowledge of PCB Automated Optical Inspection and X-ray inspection systems
