Work With Us on Aptiv’s Smart Vehicle Architecture™

Vehicles today are packed with features – SVA™ addresses complexity and enables scalable solutions by transitioning to a software-defined vehicle. What makes Aptiv different is that SVA centralizes compute and decision-making for all the various safety systems (and other systems) in and around the vehicle.

As part of our Hardware team, you’ll help us produce an entirely new, smarter architecture for tomorrow’s cars.

You’ll lead the way in:

Electronics and mechanics to enable the automated future.

Electronics and mechanics for radars, LiDARs, cameras and multi-domain controllers.

Connectors, power distribution and more.

Data and power distribution, next-generation wiring harnesses and vehicle architectures.

Interior sensing platforms, 3D gesture control systems, hardware for radios, navigation and other infotainment systems.

Products that control car features like immobilizers, alarm systems, tire pressure monitoring systems (TPMS) and vehicle sound generators.

Electronic Engineer

We offer positions from the junior to the senior level according to your technical experience.

We are looking for:

  • Student or specialist with an engineering degree in electronics or similar experience in designing and testing digital and analog circuits with particular focus on microcontroller devices, medium-power analog circuits and signal measurement
  • Experience in electronics design for EMI/EMC compliance
  • Ability to speak, read and write English

You have:

  • In-depth theoretical and practical knowledge of electronics design
  • Practical skills in CAD and simulation tools

Your possible career path:

Business career path. First, Electronic Team Lead. Second, Engineering Manager. Third, Hardware Chief Engineer. Technical Career Path. First, Technical lead. Then, technical manager.

Mechanical Engineer

We offer positions from the junior to the senior level according to your technical experience.

We are looking for:

  • Student or specialist with an engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Knowledge of CAD Software (Unigraphics, CATIA® V5)
  • Ability to speak, read and write English

You have:

  • Prior experience in tool and part design
  • Knowledge of tools such as: DFMEA, SPC, PPAP, GD&T and Dimensional Management

Your possible career path:

Two career paths shown. First, Business. First Business position is Mechanical Team Lead, then Engineeering Manager, then Hardware Chief Engineer. Second career path is Technical Path. First position is Technical lead, followed by Technical Manager.

Product Engineer

We offer positions from the junior to the senior level according to your technical experience.

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline
  • Experience developing and supporting engineering solutions for automotive OEM customers
  • Excellent communication skills

You have experience:

  • Designing products
  • Modeling 3D objects
  • Building prototypes
  • Utilizing engineering risk-mitigation tools (DFMEA, VA/VE, etc.)

Your possible career path:

Technical Career Path. First, Application Engineer. Second, Senior Product Engineer. Third, Team Lead.

Electrical Engineer

We offer positions from the junior to the senior level according to your technical experience.

We are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical Engineering
  • Experience leading systems development for automotive OEM customers
  • Solid understanding of vehicle schematics and mechanizations
  • Excellent communication skills

You have experience:

  • Designing electrical systems, working broadly across multiple engineering disciplines (electrical, mechanical, software, validation, etc.)
  • Developing quotes to maximize competitive advantages (technology, quality, cost and services)
  • Delivering customer presentations
  • Participating in customer launch activities
